How to change the length of alternate account

How to change the length of alternate account was created by join2arun

Dear All,

Initially alternate account length was set to 8. Now I changed the length to 10 in ALT.ACCT.PARAMETER.
But the system is not accepting 10 characters now. Apart from ALT.ACCT.PARAMETER do I need to set length anywhere?

Just to be sure check max. length in EB.SYSTEM - ACCOUNT

Thank you. is EB.SYSTEM is an application? Because in my system there is no such application. Can you help on this?

b.t.w. - did you amend the DISPLAY.MASK in ALT.ACCT.PARAMETER to represent 10 characters as well?

Thanks JPB.

The max length defined in EB.OBJECT is 36. Also in ALT.ACCT.PARAMETER I changed length for record LEGACY.ID to 10. But still it is not taking effect. Any solution. Please help on this issue.

If DISPLAY.MASK is correct, what exact error do you get ?

Thank you very much JPB. Its working fine now. My display mask length was in correct. Now its fine.
