Hi

I have some questions

1. what the difference between auto & start in "service.control" field
2. what is the difference between bcon & dl.define
3. i want steps how to make bcon & dl.define(Please more explain)

1. AUTO - If a job that the service was intended to run completes the Service does not STOP and keeps it active.. START - If a Service is set to START, it simply mentions it ready and can be automatically or manually activated. Once the Job is completed it comes to the STOP status.

2. BCON - ( Build Control ) is an advanced version of a DL.DEFINE. It can package even object code. DL.DEFINE is also used for packing data
items but does not allow to export object code etc..

Obviously altefish2000 doesn't know the search function in the forum
nor the official T24 documentation (at least for DL.DEFINE there is Data Library User Guide).

using R11 on Unix
