Help me to answer some question about R10 was created by phambrother
Our bank want to buy T24, Temenos suggest to use R10. We want to know some reason to decide to use R10 instead of R9. Can some one help us?

One thing in R10 is Multi line teller interface.
This allows the teller to keep open one screen while doing lookups via another screen.
I'm not sure if there is a price difference, but believe me, going from R09 to R10 will be a fair amount of work. (at least for us it was)
You might as well start with R10 now, appose to having to do an upgrade in a year.
Just my thoughts...

Hi GeeWiz,
sounds like you've done this sort of implementation before...How realsitic is the material that says implementing T24 is out of the box and can be done in 3 months but typically between 6 and 12 months?

Tuff Question... Depends on if you include your own analysis work in the estimate.
Model bank is a simple and strait forward package. Most common banking systems however, are not.
I take it you are converting from some other package.
If you can change your bank to match the software, then I'd say 6-12 months is reasonable.
Don't forget your custom interfaces in your estimates.
Have fun...
